London was already getting dark, and the fog was closing in. When I looked across the road, all the buildings on the eastern side of the street had gone dark in an act of respect. The lightless buildings stretched away into Fitzrovia.<br /><br />Later that night, walking home, I found a building site around a local hospital. The fences around the site had been moved to allow access to a dumped examination table.
